埃及7月起 貧民補貼麵包設限

華爾街日報14日報導，埃及供應部部長哈尼菲13日發表聲明，將在全國推動貧民補貼麵包的新計畫，將原先貧民每月可無限制購買政府補貼的平價麵包規定，改為每月最多購買150塊麵包，每塊麵包埃及幣5皮阿斯特（約不到台幣0.3元）。

華爾街日報說，埃及此舉是出於減少浪費，因為埃及目前是世界最大的小麥進口國，政府每年花在麵包補貼上的經費約為31.5億美元（約台幣951億元）。

這項新辦法上周末已開始在埃及塞得港試辦，預定7月在全國實施。
