外傳昨天的國民黨執政縣市長會報中，行政院副院長毛治國報告說，核四停工、尚有百分之十未完工的二號機「形同廢了」。行政院長江宜樺今天表示，這是一個可能的疑慮，但「二號機不會因核四停工而廢掉」。

台電董事長黃重球則指出，二號機「現狀停工」，與已完工的一號機「封存條件不同、啟動程序不同、成本也不一」，目前工程技術單位已在進行估算中，技術上來講，不管是一、二號機，都可處理封存問題，不過他並未回應每年需要多少封存費用。
