2013年台北國際航太暨國防工業展將於8月15至18日一連四天在台北世貿中心展覽大樓1樓展場A、D區盛大展出，由國防部、經濟部、交通部指導，外貿協會主辦，展品項目整合了陸海空軍司令部所有相關的裝備、系統、救生設施等。
國防部此係以「落實國防自主，強化災害防救」為參展主軸，參展共有6個單位，77大項展品，並在今年推出了兩項新產品，一項為「天弓三型武器系統」此裝備功能具備長程、全空域及防禦多種威脅目標之先進武器系統，是中科院自立研發之陸基反飛彈系統。
另一項產品為「紅雀及魔眼無人機系統」，「紅雀」是用以支援小型部隊執行短程作戰之偵察及目獲等任務之便攜型無人機，不需要跑道來進行起降。回收時，是直接飄降於草地。具有自動飛行、全球定位導航、即時影像與航資傳輸及日夜間作業能力。除軍事任務用途外也可運用交通、森林與水土保持監測及受災區域。其中，「新紅雀」新增副翼及降落傘構型之選配，搭配小型彈射器，提升任務能力。
「魔眼」與「紅雀」的飛航及偵蒐裝備均相同，差別在於「魔眼」是直升機構型具有垂直起降能力，不但不需要跑道，也不需要「紅雀」小型無人機滑降的空曠草地，適合在船艦上降落，更能滿足海軍或海巡的需求。
另外，「2013台北國際航太暨國防工業展」將在8月15、16日開放國內外相關業者憑名片換證入場，17、18日兩日將開放民眾與孩童免費索票入場。
