35歲的吳建豪在昨（13日）七夕情人節公布喜訊，與交往7年的31歲女友Arissa在8月9日於新加坡提出結婚申請，昨說：「結婚需要衝動，上周是我生日，結婚當作給自己的禮物，七夕公布也是很浪漫的時間。」也在微博po出自己和女友的合成照公布喜訊，星友齊祝福，曾與他交往3年的徐若瑄大方表示：「非常替他們開心，祝他們白頭偕老。」
吳建豪成為F4中最早結婚的一員，言承旭、周渝民（仔仔）以及朱孝天也送上祝福。言承旭聽聞吳建豪結婚催生小寶寶，「雖然嚇了一跳，但很替他開心，今年春晚時就覺得他好像有喜事要發生，恭喜我的好兄弟，希望可以趕快生1個小VanNess。」而仔仔也送上祝福：「非常恭喜完成人生非常重要的一件事，替他感到非常幸福快樂，祝早生貴子。」在北京拍戲的朱孝天，開心的說：「祝福他。」許多粉絲期待F3當伴郎，「這是F4合體最佳時機。」

而當初捧紅F4的《流星花園》製作人柴智屏表示，她一直以為最早結婚的人是朱孝天和吳建豪，所以不意外，並說：「演藝圈少了一個單身好男生，多一個好老公！」她稱讚吳建豪一直都是有禮貌、誠懇、樂觀的孩子，會是注意家庭生活的好老公、好爸爸，尤其信仰基督教後，很多方面變更好，不像年輕時遇到不開心的事就生氣。
吳建豪昨晚從香港返台，見到媒體在機場等候，笑說：「現在有點驚訝看到這麼多人，很開心很感動，謝謝大家關心，希望大家找到幸福。」被問到是否先有後婚？他說：「我自己是基督徒，婚前不能有性行為。」當記者說9日登記結婚就可「開機」，他搖頭笑虧記者，「很色呢你。」至於何時辦婚宴，會和雙方家長商量再決定，也期待能早點生子。
