總統馬英九在聖文森時間十七日晚間主持大使館酒會，以感謝聖文森的真情與好客。

他致詞時表示，有兩個行和讓他感覺到真情、好客，以及台灣在聖文森努力耕耘成果。首先是參加可納利橋通車典禮，此橋是建在總理龔薩福的家鄉，他到此地晉見龔薩福九十四歲母親，「我看到她就想到九十三歲母親」。

其次，視察兩國合作計畫的雅蓋機場，這是合作很具體的項目。
