國定假日碰到例假日該不該補假以及農曆春節假期該怎麼放，近來成為國人討論的熱門議題，內政部今（17）日將邀集相關部會、地方政府及民間團體等開會討論，內政部次長蕭家淇表示，內政部並無立場或腹案，但原則上將會依照立法院決議，讓全年放假天數維持115天至116天。

內政部次長蕭家淇今天在立法院表示，有人建議今後的過年一律直接放假9天，未來10年有4次是放9天、6次放6天，但這部分是否要固定放9天，還需要開會討論後決定。

至於是否增加國定假日、民俗節日，蕭家淇表示，包括教師節、耶誕節、佛誕節、元宵節、客家日、原住民日等，都有民間團體或立委提案建議，但也都還需要再行討論。

蕭家淇表示，如果放假天數維持115天、116天，與美、德、英、法等國家接近，但低於日、韓的119天及香港的120天，希望今天的會議能在得到共識後，立即著手修法，並呈報給行政院核定。
