澎湖縣祕書長劉丁乾今天表示，非常感謝縣民同胞支持，讓澎湖縣獲得2014縣市幸福指數調查第一名、成為全台灣最幸福的縣市；他說，澎湖縣是一個美麗的島嶼，背包客「寂寞星球」網站即票選澎湖縣為全球第七名，去年吸引95萬1,000人觀光，今年觀光人數破百萬人次指日可待。

劉丁乾說，澎湖縣施政目標明確，定位「低碳、綠能和慢活」，從幼兒教育和國小、國中一路推廣心靈教育，注重禮貌，並積極讓產業升級；他還說，10月是澎湖觀光淡季，澎湖特別發500元消費券給觀光客，刺激旅遊產業。

但他也表示，醫療問題始終是澎湖人的痛，縣府已列為後續施政努力方向，補足這個區域，讓發展更均衡。
