尋求連任的台中市長胡志強與挑戰者民進黨台中市長參選人林佳龍，今天中午簽下了公開辯論同意書，兩人將應三立電視台「54新觀點」政論節目之邀，於10月25日晚上6點至9點，在逢甲大學旁的張廖家廟，進行面對面的政見攻防，而這也可能將是此次台中市長選戰，兩人唯一同台交鋒的機會。

此次胡、林辯論，除了將有名嘴來賓參與討論及提問，也開放現場民眾加入互動，辯論內容將在下星期一（27）日晚間10點播出。
