大陸國台辦發言人馬曉光就台灣選舉結果發表簡短回應稱，希望兩岸同胞共同維護並繼續推動兩岸關係和平發展大局。

馬曉光的回應不到一百字，他說，「我們注意到這次選舉的結果。希望兩岸同胞珍惜兩岸關係來之不易的成果，共同維護並繼續推動兩岸關係發展。」
