泰國真實媒體集團（ture）今天報導，根據美國有線電視新聞網（CNN）的評選，大陸北京紫禁城第一，每年有1534萬人到訪，第二名是法國巴黎羅浮宮（Musee du Louvre），每年有933萬名遊客，第三名是泰國曼谷大皇宮（Grand Palace），有800萬遊客。
其他依序是法國凡爾賽宮（Palace of Versailles），土耳其的托普卡匹宮（Topkapi Palace），俄羅斯冬宮聖彼得堡（The Winter Palace, St. Petersburg），英國倫敦塔（Tower of London），奧地利美泉宮（Schonbrunn Palace），西班牙阿爾罕布拉宮（Alhambray Generalife）和日本沖繩首里城（ShuriCastle）。
