關於效果器調tone的問題

想請問一下一搬來說 solo tone大概要怎麼調整
我綜效中OD中有掛一個SOLO SW的開關基本上
聽起來好像差別不到在彈奏的過程中........

我自己調整的方式都是+音量微量 +10% 20% 在把GAIN拉大一點

只是我不懂的是效果器中有帶SOLO SW 但調整下去感覺失真有稍微提高
這是單獨採沒彈奏時才聽得出來

在彈奏過程中採下去但覺得都沒改變~~''

所以以上敘述有幾點問題

1. 一搬來說SOLO TONE 到底有沒有要推音量呢?
2. 效果器中的solo sw 到底有沒麼功用我效果器是boss的
3.一個好的solo tone該如何調整? 聽人家說 solo tone最好是掛一顆eq或boost
但我的效果器的solo sw好像也類似於這種東西不過沒辦法調整音量~~
