陳為廷也回顧這場318公民運動的幾個重要場景，他強調，「我們最堅定的武器，是民主的深化」。他強調，「這場運動我們還沒有成功，但是我們還沒有失敗」。

陳為廷也坦承，在這場運動中，的確有遭到外界質疑的部分，他甚至打趣身邊的林飛帆指出：「包括綠色軍外套和英雄主義的問題」。

陳為廷向現場同學喊話，「如果有一天我們變成被對抗的大人，希望我們不要忘記我們生命中的這24天」，他說，「這是我們身為一個人，面對嚴苛的考驗與試煉的過程」。

陳為廷強調，走出議場之後，運動仍會持續下去，「若政權仍不知悔改，我們還會回到這裡」，「帶著我們彼此的傷痕收穫，以及我們共同承擔的責任，期待我們在勝利的那一天，還能並肩擁抱」。
