依台灣目前的法律規定，如果是向私人承租房屋或土地，不管租滿幾年，都不可以強制屋主買賣。今如果假設可以的話，請問你，屋主開出的價格你會接受嗎？還是要依租房者所開的價交易呢？這個強制屋主賣屋的強制二字，已違反憲法的保障人民財產權，是不可能立法的。

不過，如果是向國有財產局租的土地，滿15年可以向國有財產局申請買賣，依土地公告價。
