根據一項全球機場準點報告的最新統計，新加坡樟宜機場在大型機場類別中排名第4，平均準點率達85.3%。

新加坡「聯合早報」今天報導，總部設在英國的航空資訊機構OAG公布「全球航空公司和機場準點報告」，統計全球4000多個機場和900家航空公司的4350份航班記錄，彙整去年準點率記錄最好的航空公司和機場，其中機場排名分為小、中、大型機場。

統計指出，每年提供超過2000萬個預定機位的大型機場中，德國慕尼黑機場以平均89%準點率排第1。

至於東京羽田機場和美國西雅圖機場分別名列第2、3名，準點率分別為87.9%和86.2%。

報導引述統計結果說，前20名最佳準點率的大型機場多位於北美洲。
