美國國鳥白頭鷹華府植物園築巢

位在華盛頓的美國國家植物園（U.S. National Arboretum）近70年來首度有白頭鷹築巢產蛋，且快要孵化出小鷹了。

白頭鷹是國鳥，且是美國的象徵。

美聯社報導，植物園人員表示，他們不確定鳥巢中有幾顆蛋，但認為是1月下旬產下的。植物園人員又表示，預期可能最快本週小白頭鷹就會破殼而出。

白頭鷹上次在植物園築巢是1947年。
