竹市長參選人林智堅 公布新住民政策

民進黨新竹市長參選人林智堅，今天公布新住民政策。他認為，目前全台行政機關共同的通病，就是開辦語言課程、職業訓練與生活規話等基礎服務，但這些服務只是要讓新住民朋友轉變成台灣人，缺乏對於他們的原鄉文化尊重。

他說，要將新竹打造成多元文化共存共榮的城市，必須透過高密度、具組織性的社區發展協會，讓新住民參與後，從個人到社區推廣到社會，最後再由社會影響到個人，形成正向循環，也讓每位剛到台灣的新住民，獲得最適切的服務與照顧。
