死亡率逾兩成驗出H5病毒即撲殺

農委會主委陳保基今天上午首度主持禽流感疫情記者會，為了更有效監控疫情，他宣布，只要判定死亡率超過兩成，且通報檢驗出H5病毒的禽類，就全數撲殺。

他說，不論驗出的病毒株是N2還是N8，事後可再追蹤，但不要再拖延，因為送檢的樣本越來越多，要加速檢驗，阻絕新病毒在台灣繼續大規模傳播。

農委會畜衛所所長蔡向榮表示，若只檢驗H5，防疫單位接到檢體後，第二天就能判定結果，比原本全面檢出H5N2或H5N8提早一至三天，可多爭取一些防疫時間。他坦承，現在正處於禽流感疫情高峰期。
